A Day on the Water

The Coast at a Different Pace

Ocean Mania brings a lively, shared experience to a wooded stretch of coastline. The setting remains part of the day throughout: open water beneath the parasail, the shoreline beside the activity areas, and the Pacific beyond the lunch terraces. Between rides, there are moments to regroup, compare first impressions, and enjoy being outdoors together.

The Experience

See the Experience

Guests arrive at the check-in point ready for a day on the water. The team welcomes the group, explains the arrangements, and takes everyone’s lunch preference. At the marine mammal centre, the sea lion encounter introduces a quieter first moment: guests listen to the staff, observe the animals nearby, and share smiles as they learn about their behaviour. The group then boards a speedboat for the crossing through Banderas Bay. Salt air moves through the boat as the coastline passes and the wooded shores of the water park come into view. On arrival, guests receive their instructions and place phones, cameras, and loose belongings in the lockers.

Ocean Mania’s appeal comes from sharing activities that call for different kinds of confidence. Some guests look forward to being above the water, while others are drawn to balancing on a board or joining a ride with friends. Talking through these preferences before booking helps the group understand what each person hopes to experience.
For families with children and teenagers, consider the available activities individually. Different members of the same party may qualify for different parts of the program. Confirm how companions are grouped and where they can regroup between attractions, particularly when traveling with several ages.

The coastal setting also shapes the experience. Conditions on the bay influence how the team organizes the day, so the suggested sequence should be treated as an outline rather than a fixed timetable. Keeping the focus on the overall visit allows room for the staff to arrange activities appropriately.
The transition to lunch is part of the day’s social character. After moving between the water and activity areas, sitting together offers time to hear which experiences stood out for everyone. If anyone has dietary requirements, discuss them before reserving so suitable arrangements can be confirmed.
For the wider itinerary, leave enough time after the return crossing to collect your belongings and travel back to your accommodation. A relaxed evening can complement the physical activity of the day without adding another tight schedule.
