On October 30 at 9:00 pm, Puerto Vallarta welcomes a deeply moving Dia de Los Muertos musical showcase held at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace (Iglesia María Reina de la Paz) in Marina Vallarta.
This cross-cultural concert brings together the Puerto Vallarta Symphony Orchestra, the Universidade de Brasília Choir, and Poder Coral under the baton of maestros Aquiles Morales and Éder Camúzis. Celebrating both Mexican and Brazilian sacred traditions, the repertoire features choral and symphonic compositions by Villa-Lobos, Gjeilo, Trotta, Silvestre Revueltas, and Macedonio Alcalá, culminating in John Rutter’s magnificent Requiem.
For travelers seeking meaningful cultural traditions in Puerto Vallarta during Día de Los Muertos, tickets can be booked online via SimpleTix.
