At Majahuitas, the landscape gives the day its character. Jungle-covered slopes rise close to the water, palms shade the gathering spaces, and the beach provides a place to return between swims. Arriving by boat makes the journey part of the occasion, while the hours ashore allow everyone to find a comfortable pace.

The Experience

See the Experience

The day begins on the water, following the southern coastline of Banderas Bay toward Majahuitas. Mountains rise behind the shore as the boat approaches a cove framed by tropical vegetation, with the beach club waiting beneath the palms. Once ashore, the pace becomes your own. Families spend time near the water, friends settle into the lounge areas, and guests head out with kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy another perspective on the cove. Snorkelling offers a closer look beneath the surface, while the sand and shade invite a quieter afternoon. A barbecue lunch brings everyone back together, with grilled dishes, vegetarian options, and a tropical dessert served in the beach setting. Beer and fruit-flavoured water accompany the day, while additional cocktails are available to order. From the boat’s approach to the final moments on the beach, the experience captures the pleasure of spending Sunday outdoors: swimming, sharing a meal, and enjoying time together before returning across the bay.

The journey is part of the visit

Reaching Majahuitas by sea introduces you to the southern coastline before you step onto the sand. The view shifts from the developed waterfront toward hills that draw closer to the bay, giving the destination a sense of separation from the city.
The boat journey also frames the day. Arrival brings a clear change of setting, while the return offers time to take in the coast again after the hours spent ashore.
Making the day your own
A beach day works particularly well when members of a group have different interests. At Majahuitas, guests can spend time together without needing to follow the same sequence of activities.
You might begin with a swim, return to the shade, and decide later whether to paddle. Someone else may prefer to stay by the beach and enjoy the view. The shared setting makes it easy to reconnect over lunch and conversation.

Enjoying the cove from the water

Kayaking and paddleboarding offer a different perspective on the relationship between the beach and the surrounding hills. From just offshore, the curve of the cove and the vegetation behind it become more apparent.
Snorkelling brings attention to a smaller scale beneath the surface. Visibility and sea conditions vary, so approach the water activities as opportunities within a broader beach day. Follow the team’s guidance on where and when to take part.

Understanding the beach club setting

The lounge areas and Balinese beds contribute to the atmosphere described for Majahuitas. Guests with a particular seating preference should confirm the arrangements before booking, especially when travelling with a larger party.
It is also useful to distinguish the scheduled meal and included drinks from additional purchases. This allows you to plan any extras while keeping the day itself straightforward.

Planning beyond the beach

Majahuitas Beach Club does not offer overnight accommodation. Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta provide places to stay before and after the visit.
When planning dinner or another activity afterward, allow time for the boat’s return, disembarkation, and onward travel. Your confirmed return point will help you choose a convenient setting for the rest of the evening.
