Planning for Different Interests

A flexible park visit can suit companions who enjoy different balances of walking and relaxation. Before arriving, discuss which parts of the day matter most to everyone. Leaving space between activities makes it easier to explore together without turning the visit into a checklist.
For families with young children or guests with limited mobility, ask the operator about the paths between attractions, steps and available assistance. General admission information does not establish whether every area will suit every visitor.

Choosing the Right Kind of Day

Consider how this outing fits into the rest of your stay. A mountain visit can bring variety to several days by the coast, especially when followed by an unhurried evening.
If you have a dinner reservation, cruise departure or other fixed commitment, work backward from it when selecting your departure. Confirm the complete return arrangements before finalizing the day.
